I love Jay Chou's song , especially, the song named "Qing Hua Ci"(blue and white porcelain). Because its song lyric is graceful, and it fuses Chinese instruments and styles with R&B or rock to form. There are the music group I like: Rhythm and Blues, "Zhengguo Fen"with R&B, Rock. My favorite type of music is Jay's "Zhengguo Fen"with R&B.

I like the reading named" Texting May Be Taking a Toll"most in all of the reading. Because I think this article really can reflect the modern teenagers. Young people always easily accept the fresh things, and use it widely. Nowadays, many young people always use texting to contact each other, especially the teenagers. According to a psychologist’s survey, it’s said that the teenagers do texting at night when their parents are asleep, they do it while crossing busy streets, they do it in the classroom with their hands behind their back etc. However, to limit the teenagers’ to limit the teenagers’ texting is necessary for three reasons. First, keep texting with fingers is harm of their health. Second, texting will cause the sleep issues when teenagers texting late at night. Finally, texting also will cause the generation gap between the parents and children.

There is a deep impact of pop culture in our generation, it’s not only in reading, music, movies and fashion, but also the impact on our attitude to life. When Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonald's, Pizza hut ect.came to the full of heavy history China, the fast food culture began very popular. I used to eat them with some close classmates after school in China. In video stores, our ears are filled with the most popular R & B or heavy metal music. I can easily to find that the latest pop albums always put on the the most prominent position and their price are more expensive than others, as well as their all kinds of beautiful packaging, so, I always bought them without any hesitation. Therefore, I always follow them, don’t want to be“out of the loop” of my peers in China.

However, I found that I seemd to “out of the loop”, I can’t find the standard of the pop culture, when I moved to U.S. because the fast food is the Americans daily food, the sense is different to me before I live in China. I used to think this kind of fast food is the symbol of young people, but it’s not ture in America, because the Americans eat them everyday, it doesn’t connet with the age. In addition, as we know, America is united states, there are many different kind of style of popular in different people who came from different country. Therefore, while I was was taking the class of Pop Culture Mirror On America, I know that it’s cultural identity.
